This intimate local restaurant offers an innovative and casual but upscale American menu that includes many organic farm sourced ingredients. Owner’s Chef Christopher Polidoro and wife Jessica use local and regional ingredients in a simple but creative way to set a good, clean, fair Slow Food standards on Neptune Beach.

Chef Polidoro is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and has cooked for many fine NY restaurants and NY celebrities. He has also spent time as an organic farmer. He now engages the growers at Frog Song Organic Farm, GYO Greens, B & W Hydroponics, and Siembra Farms to carry produce to his kitchen C&C Fisheries provides the local seafood and organic poultry and humanely raised meats round out a clean menu that is simply prepared with concern for health and balanced nutrition. Chef Polidoro is well aware that the fresh, local, and highest quality is the foundation of a good kitchen.

The menu is seasonal and includes a few traditional offerings created with creativity and care. How about starting off with tomato soup made in the Dutch style with ground mace, goat cheese gnudi and fresh parsley- or a fresh from the boat crudo of the day with avocado, citrus, ponzu, and salmon roe. Follow up with roast chicken, grilled snapper, or a grilled ribeye all accompanied with sides that arrived in the farmer’s box. From the logo to the menu, everything is clean and fresh at Doro.
