THE FLORIDIAN

The Floridian restaurant offers locals and visitors alike a seasonal menu that has a full selection of farm fresh ingredients every day. They serve dishes that reflect the cuisine of our regional southern heritage with a bit of a new twist. The list of menu items changes according to what is growing in the fields and swimming in our local waterways. Chefs and owners Genie and Jeff McNally believe they can best support their community by purchasing ingredients locally. They certainly do their part to promote the sustainability and growth of our region’s agriculture by using what’s in-season. This all goes to insure that the tasty plates and menu at The Floridian are local in every sense of the word.

The “Fresh Catch”, from our adjacent waters, is offered in a variety of dishes and the “Meat and Potatoes” is a daily preparation made with locally raised Cartwheel Ranch beef. Even the ketchup accompaniment contains our very own datil peppers. The vegetarian selections are extensive and many are vegan. Genie and Jeff’s farm and artisan partners are listed on the blackboard in the dining room and on the menus.

A trip to the Oldest City wouldn’t be complete without lunch or dinner at the Floridian. Enjoy this new innovative southern fare for omnivores, herbivores, and locavores. The home-style desserts are not to be missed!
