Slow down and savor a relaxed, farm-to-table brunch experience at Homespun, featuring Farm & Forage—a new urban farm rooted in fresh, local food and thoughtful growing practices. This intimate outdoor gathering invites you to enjoy seasonal flavors, connect with your community, and learn more about where your food comes from.

 

·       April 4 (Saturday): Tour de Farmer’s Market at the Riverside Arts Market, 12-3pm. 

Meet local farmers at the Riverside Arts Market! This 15 minute tour will introduce you to several of the local farmers who sell their produce (or meat or eggs or cheese or honey!). People love Farmer's Row because it is the freshest produce you can get; come hear about it from the farmers themselves. There will also be some samples to try! Keep your eyes out for the sign up for this FREE event.

 

·       April 12 (Sunday): Tour de Farm, 11-3pm. St. Johns County.
Enjoy a Sunday with commercial farmers who are opening their gates to the public for one spring day! For the price of one parking pass, visitors can tour numerous farms, chat with the families, taste test some of their produce and have swag to take home. Farmers will have potatoes, snapbeans, flowers, fresh cut meats, and more in season for your experience! All participating farms are in northwest St Johns County for a convenient day trip. More activities and locations to be announced soon!

BOTANICAL COCKTAILS |  SOLD OUT!

Join Slow Food First Coast, Manifest Distilling and Edible Northeast Florida for an evening of botanical cocktails! Learn about local wild edibles and how they mix with spirits, take a distillery tour, plus sample sips of our favorite beverages, featuring foraged ingredients.  This interactive cocktail workshop will provide attendees an overview of creating a structured cocktail at home using local and fresh botanicals.  Ticket price includes cocktail demo, a custom botanical cocktail to enjoy, an optional distillery tour, and time for Q & A with distiller + guest partners.

COOKING WITH HERBS WORKSHOP SERIES

Slow Food First Coast is pleased to present our first 3-part cooking series to help get your creativity flowing in the kitchen. Join us for one or more of the following workshops to learn tricks of the trade from the kitchen teams at Biscottisbb's Restaurant and b the bakery. Each workshop starts at 5:30 pm and runs until 7 pm at Cultivate Jax. Tickets are $25.00 per person and include wine, cooking demo, appetizer tastings, and time for Q & A with guest chefs.
