Brian and Kristin Lapinski have created a model small organic farm where only all-natural manure and compost fertilizers and natural methods of pest control are used.  They use crop rotation to improve the soil and to fight bugs and disease.  Although not certified organic, they use only sustainable practices and welcome visitors to the farm to learn and see for yourself how your food is grown. The farm was purchased in 2007, 2.5 acres on the Westside of Jacksonville.  This parcel of land was chosen because Brian and Kristen realized how very little urban agriculture exists in the Jacksonville area.  The land is nurtured with care – planting, weeding and bug control by hand.  They are growing fruits, vegetables, and flowers with utmost concern for individuals who eat this food and for the earth that sustains us all.  The farm also supports their 30 member CSA.

Meet Brian during the growing season and purchase fresh organically grown produce at the Riverside Arts Market, on Riverside Avenue under the Fuller Warren Bridge, Jacksonville.  March to December, Saturdays 10 AM to 4 PM or at the Beaches Green Market, Neptune Beach FL, Open year-round on Saturdays 2:00 to 5:00 PM.
